For the new Mississippi Asphalt Pavement Association website’s foundation, we opted for a dynamic WordPress format that would allow for this high level of flexibility.
Pages like Events and Schools and Seminars can be updated with ease to keep members in the loop about the extensive array of MAPA programs. Attendees can sign up and pay without ever having to leave the site. The Contracts and Bidding page can be updated to share details about ongoing contracts, as well as reports on fuel and materials used. These reports are automatically generated and sent to MAPA’s mailing list with each site update through the magic of an RSS Email Feed.
Site visitors are able to attain membership through the Membership page. Here viewers are encouraged to join and can educate themselves through customized drop down boxes, and even submit applications and payments online.
