Hi! My name is Kerra Hatcher, and I’m MayeCreate’s office manager. You can find me at the front desk answering phone calls or greeting you when you walk into our new office!
Pre-Grad
I was born and raised in Nashville, TN and earned a degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of TN at Chattanooga. I met my husband, Brett, on a Carnival cruise ship, The Inspiration in 2008, and boy was it Inspirational! Post cruise, I moved to his hometown of Columbia, MO in April of 2009, and graduated with my bachelor’s degree in education that same month.
Post-Grad
As a teacher in Columbia Public Schools, I taught second and third grade for 7 years, and then elementary media for 4 years. After 11 years in education, I decided to switch gears and work part-time for MayeCreate in January of 2020. This position has been a wonderful opportunity to broaden my knowledge of all things web design (wow, what a process!), laugh with my incredible team of hard working coworkers, and has allowed me time with my family!
Life Outside of MayeCreate
I celebrated 10 years of marriage in June 2021, and together we have three children: Emaline (6), Lainey (4) and Wilson (5 months). When I’m not working, I enjoy baking, time outdoors, baby snuggles, playing board games as a family, and shopping alone without children asking me for things!

Monica Maye Pitts
Monica is the creative force and founder of MayeCreate. She has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with an emphasis in Economics, Education and Plant Science from the University of Missouri. Monica possesses a rare combination of design savvy and technological know-how. Her clients know this quite well. Her passion for making friends and helping businesses grow gives her the skills she needs to make sure that each client, or friend, gets the attention and service he or she deserves.
