Creating an Enhanced Living Experience
On the 9th is a housing development within the Community of Old Hawthorne that caters to professionals and retirees of all ages, located at the 9th hole of Columbia’s top golf course. When Ben & Nancy Galloway, owners of On the 9th, moved into Old Hawthorne in 2008, it didn’t take them long to realize there’s something special about the community. They soon surrendered to their shared interest in real estate and to their love of Old Hawthorne and developed On the 9th.
When they came to us with a desire to develop an online home for On the 9th, we were eager to work with people who believe a strong community is important the way we do.
Simplicity at its Finest
As we’ve said many times before, our goal in designing and building websites is to truly represent our client’s image. This site takes the cake. Ben & Nancy Galloway started On the 9th with the desire to simplify the lives of professionals and retirees, so we designed a site to make life simpler for them as well.
The Townhomes page is a perfect example of this. The clearly-labeled sections start with a text description of the On the 9th townhomes, followed by a photo gallery showcasing more images. After that, visitors see a list of amenities in bulleted form for easy reading (even ones coming soon!), and finally the available floor plans include key information in the section titles so visitors can get the information they want right off the bat (how many square feet and how much?). Nice.
