Sam, the brain behind Strategic Services, and his son Dave had been providing consulting services for years and wanted to use their collective experience to create a more flexible business structure for themselves. In other words, they wanted to start a new business so they could not only offer their consulting services in their own way but also reach reputable organizations in need of his assistance.
Sam and Dave understood the importance of having a legit online presence for their new business and knew a DIY website wouldn’t offer the professional image they were going for. As a new company, the last thing they wanted was to come off as a fly-by-night operation. Rather, they needed something to promote their credibility and showcase their competencies in helping small to midsize organizations transition smoothly into a promising future.
As big supporters of employee engagement and not-for-profits, we felt privileged to help Strategic Services succeed in their mission to help other organizations reach their full potential.
As we began designing the new Strategic Services website, we worked with Sam and Dave to develop and organize their content in a way that would illustrate the legitimacy of their business.
The site feature professional images of their day-to-day consulting practices, which definitely contributes to their legitimacy as a business and to the professional look of their new website. They also collected testimonials from those they’ve worked with in the past for us to feature throughout the site, which helps support the company’s claims of extensive experience in the industry.
Given the number of other consulting companies out there claiming similar experience, we collectively felt consistent branding was key to creating a legit image for Strategic Services. So, after building their new site, we created new business cards and letterhead reflecting their website branding to help bridge the gap between their online and offline images.
