FALL is the best season of the entire year. No contest. In fall, the air is crisp and fresh. It makes you want to take a big deep breath in when you walk outside. Itโ€™s cool so you donโ€™t sweat to death or freeze your buns off after ten minutes. Itโ€™s BEAUTIFUL to look at! The varying shades of reds, yellows, oranges, and browns are breathtaking. Aside from the perfect temperatures (and the hoodies and sweatshirts that naturally pair so well in 60 degree weather), there are so many more activities in the fall to attend than other seasons. Among my favorites are football games, pumpkin patches, fall festivals, and campouts. The season doesnโ€™t drag on like sweltering summers, or make you dream of cruises in the middle of Februaryโ€ฆ it just bows out and leaves you wishing for another weekend of sitting outside and having a beer or warm cup of coffee as you watch your kids ride bikes or play in the leaves.

Monica Pitts, Chief Creative Officer

SUMMER! The freedom of kids out of school. The feel of the sun on my skin, my plants growing up around me and afternoons out on the lake. I love to put on a hoodie every now and again but I’d rather put on sunscreen!

Jon Sheltmire, Special Projects Manager

As a kid, of course it was summerโ€ฆ no school, days at the pool, lots of outdoor activities, summer camps, theme parks, outdoor grilling, etc.  The runner-up season at that time was Winter, primarily because it meant Christmas and the occasional snow day.  Fast forward to now, and neither of those seasons is at the top.  FALL has usurped them both. Number one reason?  The clothes.  I can comfortably cloak the dad bod with long sleeves, flannel shirts, sweaters, and jackets. I donโ€™t have to completely bundle up for freezing temperatures, but I donโ€™t have to strip down for the blazing heat. Plus, I love getting into costume for Halloween. There’s also the driving factor; Your car doesnโ€™t have to contend with overheating and the summer vacation traffic, nor must it attempt to navigate the dangerous icy snow-piled streets of Winter.

Fernando Sucre, Project Manager

My favorite season is fall! Growing up in Panama I have always had two seasons…sorta off. It was either summer or it was raining. When I moved to the United States in 2007 I got to experience the different seasons and it helped me appreciate each season in a different way. When I would be complaining about how cold it is and remember thinking about how I cannot wait for summer and then mid-July hits and forget about the cold winter days of January. The reason why I love fall is that it feels like the time of the year when people spend the most time together in the family. Also is when football starts and I get to look over my fantasy football team and make sure I get the right players in my starting lineup.

Fernando Sucre, Project Manager

Give me all the warm weather and sunshine! Summertime means taking road trips, going to outdoor concerts, spending time at our favorite local wineries and watching storms roll in. Everything is a little more relaxed and easygoing. It feels like time slows down so you have the perfect amount needed to savor every moment.

Fernando Sucre, Project Manager

I’m an Autumn girl, all the way. Sweaters, bonfires, pumpkin patches, thick fuzzy socks, and spooky season. The smell of petrichor and mulled cider. Clove and anise. We have a big picture window in our house and Fall is just the most picturesque season for it. Or for sitting on the front porch with your coffee in the morning, just looking at the bright red and yellow trees. Autumn is the slow cozy season and I am absolutely in love.
