In a recent study by Red Base Interactive, researchers were able to determine the best time of day for business-to-business email marketing opens. Knowing that business people lead very busy lives, Red Base Interactive was interested in figuring out when they are the least busy and therefore the most likely to open your emails. They were able to gather the following information based on the sender’s time zone in the United States from 7 different sources.
Conclusions
As you can see, the hours between 8a.m. and 11a.m. received the most marks. Based on these results, we can conclude that there is a 4-way tie for the best times of day for email marketing opens, which are 8a.m., 9a.m., 10a.m. and 11a.m.
Basically what this comes down to is that the morning hours are the best time of day for email marketing opens.However, keep in mind that every company is different so this formula may not be the best choice for you.Ultimately it is up to you and your ninja tracking skills to determine the formula for success for your email marketing efforts.
