Step 1: Sign up for a new account.
Click Sign Up at the top right corner and enter your full name, email and desired password. You’ll then be prompted to add a phone number for your account or you can skip this step by clicking Skip at the bottom left.
Step 2: Create a username.
If you are using this Twitter account for brand management for your business, consider using your domain name without the “dot com/net/etc.” (i.e. http://twitter.com/mayecreate).
Add your business email address.
Step 3: Finalize your account setup.
Choose special interests, find your friends, colleagues and big influencers. Then follow your favorite (and relevant) organizations, businesses, famous figures and more.
Step 4: You’re now an official Twitter user.
Set up your profile by uploading a picture and writing a short bio.
Step 5: Start connecting!
Interact with the profiles you’re following, make some posts and tag other users. Make your online presence known!
Step 6: Get the most from your company’s Twitter page!
Check out Cafe Quill’s incredible infographic that walks Twitter uses through how to turn followers into loyal customers.
